3 reasons moving house with a toddler is fun.....

Did I say fun? Maybe distructive, frustrating and hard would be better words to use.

1. As your packing your life into boxes chubby little beautiful hands will be unpacking the boxes behind you.
Lesson.. Tape the boxes as you go!

2. Packing tape is NOISY if you have a little babe that like mine will sleep through most things. Guess what, they won't sleep through the tugging of tape!

3. I always lived pretty lightly, clothing, necessary house hold items ect. I now have truck loads of old baby clothes and toys that aren't even being used anymore... Someone explain to me why?

But it all isn't so bad! Redecorating is fun, starting from scratch. Feeling fresh, new and excited. Sometimes you fall into a rut, life is constantly repetitive.. Try to spic it up, laugh more often and enjoy those little moments with your family.
I often forget to just sit on the floor and watch him, let him show me his toys, see what he wants to do. Rather than setting up all the activities for him, reading to him an playing set games and following routine. Sometimes just go with it! See where they want to go and what they want to do.
Your little one might actually surprise you, and te more you tune in... The more you can see the signs and read what they really need. Yes I'm admitting now at 14 months of parenting that I'm only learning how to read what my child needs.

Learn with them ♥️

Mummy Blogger Makes || Nutella Muffins

It was a Sunday afternoon at home with my little babe. He was restless and I wanted to do some sort of activitie with him. We attempted painting..... Let's just say we won't do that again. So we decided to bake, that way if he did put substances in his mouth I wouldn't have a heart attack.

These 3 ingredient Nutella muffins are so easy to make! A perfect afternoon treat for your little mr or miss and scrumptious with a coffee or tea for yourself.

Ingredients
• 3 EGGS
• 1 CUP plain flour
• 1 1/2 CUPS Nutella

Method
• stir eggs into Nutella, this might take a little but of work but it will turn into a smooth shiny mixture.
• gently fold through flour, the less you mix the fluffier and moist the muffins will be!
• add mixture to muffin tins and cook for 15 mins on 180*c

NOTE || once the muffins begin to crack on top and spring back when touched, they are ready!

I can be your hero baby

I can kiss away the pain. I will stand by you forever....

I'm deffinitely not about to win XFactor but when I'm alone (aka it's just Charlie and I) I sing ALLL the time. I love lyrics, they can just explain things so much better than I can in my own words. One song can describe to someone exactly how your feeling.

These lyrics popped into my head whilst I was thinking about how quickly my little darling is growing up. How quickly he is gaining independence. I want to be his hero, I want to be the person who he turns to for advice and guidance.

My little chunky man is my whole world! He drives me up the walls most days, sometimes I even want to hide up there and not come back down.... But I do, I always come back down to reality. I give him a cuddle and all my pain goes away ♥️ Your Mummy Blogger

Trail of distruction

Anyone would think I never clean my house. That I'm happy living with toys scattered everywhere. Half folded washing pulled out of baskets and laying on the floor. Books and DVDs live infront of the shelf instead of on the shelf.

In reality though, I clean my house multiple times a day. As I clean each a room I have a little person trailing behind me undoing all the work I've just done. I swear he thinks his helping?

I have now just put him to bed, and following the same routine as I do every night. Picking up all his toys. Stacking away all the DVDs. Wiping down his high hair. Sometimes I wonder what I did before I had him? How did I fill in time? I must have led a pretty boring life, because i couldn't think of anything more entertaining than his cheeky face as his tearing my house to pieces 😂

Here is an image I captured as I was trying to wee this afternoon... Only a matter of seconds and he can turn a neat little area into a pigstie!
I did have to laugh when he passed me a toilet roll and said "ta".
