This was about my head space leading up to my little mans big day! I actually had to sit down and just read books with him the day before his birthday. I was so stressed and worked up about what everyone else would think that I was forgetting about the one little person I was doing it all for? CHARLIE. 

Now I can HIGHLY reccomend if you are like me and YouTube and google everything! & love to attempt Pinterest DIYS.... Don't do it on your babes big day! My horrible icing does not do my cake toppers justice! Trust me they looked stunning. 

Now the Birthday Cake as well as the Name Banner were both custom made for Charlie by One of the kind shop!

Speaking of cake! What's a first birthday without a ale smash?!

I can't forget to mention the gorgeous chalk board milestone print I had on display in both the cake smash shoot and on the day of Charlie's party! This was also created by milski designs! It incorporates a magical 12 months of progress and milestones.
