Hey guys! as a little extra I have a few responses from instagrams @blw_carter_led_feeding ! Go check her out (:

What do you think a few of the best first BLW foods to try are?
Foods that are soft or can be softened are easiest to be successful at early BLW.  Common first BLW foods can be avocado and banana. I started with roasted yellow zucchini, then roasted squash and steamed carrots.  Ripe and juicy pears, peaches and plums, were also early favourites.

What age would you recommend trying BLW?
BLW isn't recommended before the age of 6 months.  I do suggest reading Gil Rapley's Baby-Led Weaning book to gain an understanding of the reasoning behind this.  I introduced food to my son when he was a week away from 6 months.  He is now 9 months and has a great appetite and interest in food.

What is your little one's current favourite meal?
We are currently enjoying sweet potato wedges, roasted squash and lots of mango and plums the most!  Roasted apples with avocado oil and cinnamon is a nice treat, as well.  A varied diet with lots of delicious options makes baby appreciate exploring tastes and textures.

Thanks and enjoy!
