Mummy Blogger Makes | mini pasties
7:56:00 pmAfter my cooking session the other week I asked you all if you wanted a super simple child friendly snack food which can hide all the veggies your little ones may not enjoy eating! I can promise you they won't even notice them in this.
Ingredients
Mince - I use beef but use whatever you prefer!
Puff Pastry
Egg Wash (egg and milk)
Minced garlic, salt and pepper - to season
Veggies!
Carrot
Brocoli
Peas and Corn
Onion
~this is just what I use you can add anything
Method
Brown off your mince with seasoning and a touch of Olive oil
Grate or finely chop your veggies the smaller they are they less noticed they will be
Add veggies to mince and sit mixture aside to cool
Depending on the size of pasties you would like I generally cut one sheet of puff pastry into 9 squares 3x3
Spoon mince mix once cooled onto pastry and seal with a fork and brush with egg wash
Cooking times and temp may vary I cook fanforced at 150 for 25/30 mins.
